Welcome to the statue restoration gallery

This ceramic statue was in need of some serious restoration. Its made of plaster, nearly 100 years old and had at least 8 coats of paint. The previous surface was sanded down, re-plastered and all smoothed out. It received a full paint job and clear protective coating.
You can see this Mother of Mercy (May Crowning) statue at Saint Williams church in Cincinnati, Ohio U.S.A.  

This wood statue was in need of some serious restoration. Its made of wood, nearly 90 years old and had at least 9 coats of paint on it.

It belongs to the school of Summit Country Day in Cincinnati, Ohio U.S.A.  

This concrete statue was cracked in half. It was repaired, painted and fully restored

This Our Lady of Fatima was found in the garbage believe it or not.
It was repaired with plaster and fully painted, gold leafed and 60 Swarovski crystals were applied to her gown.

This Our Lady of Fatima was found at a thrift store.
She was fully painted, gold guilded and multiple Swarovski crystals were applied to her gown.
